Afterpay FAQ

What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is a way to order your anime goodies without needing to pay the whole amount upfront. We ship your order out as normal and you pay it off in fortnightly installments over 6 or 8 weeks. If you are using Afterpay for the first time, 25% of the total order amount will be paid upfront when you checkout.

Which countries is Afterpay available from TAAS?
Afterpay is available for our Australian, New Zealand, UK and Canadian customers only. Customers must be 18 years or over.

Help! My address doesn’t work!
Some international addresses won’t allow Afterpay to work properly, and may respond with a ‘Please use an address with AUD currency’. If this happens please use our store’s address for your billing address (your name can remain the same). Contact us if you need more help with this.

Do I pay more if I use Afterpay?
No! There is no interest or added fees to use this service.
The only time you would pay a fee is if you miss a payment.

Is there a minimum order value?
Minimum order value $40AUD

Is there a maximum order value?
Maximum order value $2000AUD ($1000AUD for international orders)

Can I use Afterpay on ‘Pre-Order’ items?
No. Afterpay can only be used on ‘released’ items. If you wish to pre-order something, please use a different payment method (Australian customers can use Zip or Layby for ‘pre-order’ items).

How many orders can I have on the go at any one time?
This will depend on Afterpay, as they use a real time approval process. Customers who are using Afterpay for the first time, or those who don’t use Afterpay often, will have a spending limit LOWER than Au $2000.

I ordered something using Afterpay but I need to return it, what do I do?
No problems! Once we receive your return, you will be issued with a store credit or refund for the final price of the item/s. If you chose to get store credit for your return, your Afterpay instalments will continue to be taken out as usual until the order has been paid in full.

I want to pay my order off sooner, can I do this?
Yes! You can pay your order off early if you would like. You will need to contact Afterpay directly to arrange this.
