Layby Information

THIS INFORMATION IS FOR THOSE CUSTOMERS WHO WISH TO TAKE OUT A LAYBY WITH THE ANIME ACCESSORIES STORE!

OUR 'LAYBY' OPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO DOMESTIC (AUSTRALIAN) CUSTOMERS. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS MUST USE ANOTHER METHOD OF PAYMENT!

 

The Anime Accessories Store is proud to offer 'online layby's' for our Australian customers! This is great for when you don't wish to pay the full amount for your order 'up-front', especially when it comes to 'pre-prders'!

In order to utilise this system, please select 'layby' during checkout.

Once we have received your order, we will contact you to arrange the deposit payment, which is 30% of the total amount of the order. This payment must be made within 7 days of the order being placed, otherwise the order will be cancelled. THIS DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE!

Once you have paid the deposit, subsequent payments can be made at your pace, so long as it is finalized by the due date. We accept cards, direct bank deposit and Paypal. Afterpay is not available for laybys.

The items in the order will determine the final due date.

If the order contains 'released' items only, final payment must be made 8 WEEKS after the date the order is placed.

If the order contains any 'pre-order' items, final payment is due ON THE 1ST DAY OF THE EARLIEST RELEASE MONTH WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED. For example, if you have two 'pre-order' items, one is released in July and the other October, then we use the July release to determine your due date. The due date WILL NOT change in the event of a delay in the release of any of these items.

If the order ('pre-order' or 'pre-order'/'released') contains 'pre-order' items that are due in the same month or the following month as the order is placed, then the final payment is due 8 WEEKS after the date the order is placed. For example, if the order is placed in mid-March, and the order contains items that are due out in March and/or April (and no other month), then the due date will be determined by the date the order is placed. As with regular 'pre-order' items, the due date WILL NOT change in the event of a delay in the release of any of these items.

We will send out a reminder notice about 2 weeks before the layby is due, if there is still an amount outstanding.

Once the layby is fully paid, and all the items are with us, we will then ship the order out to you!

In the event of any cancellations, we will refund you any amounts paid to us, minus the deposit amount. The deposit will ONLY be refunded in the event that the manufacturer cancels an item where it is the only item in the order.
